TAT Spring Fever Triathlon - Sunday, May 5, 2024 - Jenks Aquatics Center, Jenks, Oklahoma

The Spring Fever Triathlon is a great race for beginner triathletes as well as experienced racers. Many local and regional athletes began their triathlon “careers” at this event.

TAT Tulsa Triathlon - Sprint - Saturday, June 22, 2024 - Birch Lake, Barnsdall, Oklahoma

Tulsa Triathlon provides a distance challenge for all athletes. Whether you are 5 or 95 you will enjoy the beautiful scenery at Birch Lake near Barnsdall, Oklahoma as you experience the multi-sport lifestyle like no other event.

Events include Sprint Triathlon (500 meter open water swim, 12 mile road bike, 5K road run), International/Olympic Triathlon (1500 meter open water swim, 40K road bike, 10K road run), 70.3/Half (1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile road bike, 13.1 mile road run). There are two Aquabike distances (1500M/40K and 1.2 mile/56 mile) along with a kids triathlon for ages 5 to 12.

TAT Tulsa Triathlon - Kids - Saturday, June 22, 2024 - Birch Lake, Barnsdall, Oklahoma

Tulsa Area Triathletes is excited to offer the Kid's Triathlon this year at Twin Cove Beach on Birch Lake. The Kid's Triathlon will be held on Saturday June 16th at 10:30 am after the adult Sprint Triathlon. Events include: Kids Ages 5-8 years old - Start at 10:30am - Swim 50 meters open water - in shallow part of lake | Bike 1 mile | Run .5 miles Kids Ages 9-12 years old (start after the 5-8yr olds finish) - Swim 100 meters open water - in shallow part of lake | Bike 2 miles | Run 1 mile Packet pick-up for the Kids Triathlon will be at RunnersWorld Tulsa, 3920 S. Peoria on June 18th - 19th 10am-6pm. Race shirts will be given to all participants who register by 5/15/20 and medals will be given to all finishers.

Breaking Barriers 5K - Saturday, July 13, 2024 - OSU Tulsa & Osage Prairie Trail

Join us to support and celebrate the women and children of the Lindsey House as they complete a Couch to 5K running/walking program. This program is designed to demonstrate the physical, mental, social health benefits of breaking barriers to conventional training programs.

The Breaking Barriers 5k includes:

  • 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
  • Awards for the top 3 overall male and female winners!
  • Standard 5 year age group awards.
  • Finishers medals for all 5K runners/walkers.
  • USATF measured and certified 5K course.
  • Beautiful tri-blend race shirts (limited numbers! Sign up early to make sure you get one.)

Breaking Barriers Training - Saturday, July 13, 2024 - Lindsey House and Osage Prairie Trail, Tulsa Oklahoma

This run-walk program will help you cross the finish line feeling strong. It is designed to demonstrate the physical, mental, and social health benefits of breaking barriers to conventional training programs.

The Breaking Barriers Training Program includes:

  • Work you way to finishing a 5K or 1-Mile Fun Run.
  • Experienced run/walk leaders.
  • 3 group workouts per week.
  • Weekly email with training advice.
  • Start at your current fitness level and train at your own pace.
  • Training for Breaking Barriers 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on July 13th.

Urban Adventure Race - Saturday, September 28, 2024 - RunnersWorld Tulsa, 3920 S Peoria Ave. Tulsa Oklahoma

Join us for the annual RunnersWorld Tulsa 26.2, 50, or 100 Mile Urban Adventure Race!

The RunnersWorld Tulsa Urban Adventure Race promises to be an unforgettable running experience. It is an urban adventure, a running tour of Tulsa, beginning and ending at RunnersWorld Tulsa. There is a distance for most everyone beginning with the marathon. The marathon is an exciting tour around Tulsa to experience seeing a vast amount of the iconic sights that represent our town! Upon finishing you will receive your Urban finisher's medal!

Half N Half Marathon - Sunday, December 1, 2024 - Turkey Mountain, Tulsa, Oklahoma

The RunnersWorld Tulsa Half and Half Marathon allows you to run a half marathon on the Turkey Mountain trails or a half marathon on paved pedestrian trails. All races will be going at the same time for some fast-paced finish line action.

  • Half Marathon on Turkey Mountain Dirt Trails
  • Half Marathon on Riverside Paved Trails
  • Full Marathon with First Half on Trails and Second Half on Paved Trails
  • Full Marathon Entirely on Riverside Paved Pedestrian Trails

Every finisher receives a unique medal for each half completed. These medals connect together to form a Taijitu - the symbol for Yin Yang. Together the medals represent a balance between running on trails and pavement.

The races start and finish at the Turkey Mountain main (lower) parking lot located at 6850 S. Elwood Ave. The Trail Half Marathon is an out and back course with a turn around at the Westide YMCA. The Paved Half Marathon is entirely on the Riverparks paved trail system. There is a nine hour time limit for all races. All courses will be marked with pink ribbons and signs.
